Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin-renewal procedure that uses controlled microchannels to stimulate the skin’s natural repair response.
At Karthika’s Aesthetic Centre, microneedling is used as part of a personalised treatment plan for concerns such as acne scars, enlarged pores, rough texture, uneven skin quality, superficial pigmentation and early signs of ageing.
A precision microneedling device is used to create controlled micro-injuries at carefully selected depths. This process supports natural collagen and elastin remodelling while also allowing selected professional serums or skin-supporting solutions to be incorporated where appropriate.
Treatment depth and intensity are not the same for everyone. We assess your skin thickness, scar type, sensitivity, pigmentation tendency and treatment goal before selecting the appropriate protocol.
For deeper scars or more significant skin laxity, standard microneedling may also be combined with or upgraded to RF Microneedling when clinically appropriate.
